Once the design of a product has been finalized, Yoshikawa Kasei designs and fabricates the mold(s) for manufacturing. During this phase, 3D data is shared among various design systems that are based on CAD, CAM, CAE, and other computer-aided automation technologies, thereby reducing the lead time for mold fabrication.
Also, engineers involved in the mold fabrication process are highly experienced in using state-of-the-art machines to fabricate precise, high-quality molds. Recently there has been a trend to shift mold fabrication to China and other nearby Asian countries; Yoshikawa Kasei has been sharing expertise in mold fabrication among three primary bases -- Japan, China, and Malaysia -- thereby providing customers all over the world with molds that take advantage of Yoshikawa Kasei's precise mold fabrication techniques and that truly suit customer needs. |
